This Privacy Policy explains how Ready Today (“Ready Today”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, and protects information when you use our website and services (the “Service”). The Service is offered to users in the United States only.
1. What we collect
- Information you provide — assessment answers, email address, ZIP code, household details, and messages you send to support.
- Account information — login email and any profile data you add.
- Payment metadata — billing status, plan, and transaction identifiers. Card and bank details are processed directly by our payment provider (Paddle) and are never stored on our servers.
- Usage data — pages viewed, events triggered, IP address, device and browser information, and approximate location derived from IP.
- Cookies and similar technologies — for session management, analytics, and ad measurement.
We do not collect your street address, phone number, precise GPS location, or any sensitive personal information.
2. How we use it
- deliver the assessment and generate your readiness plan;
- create and manage your account;
- process subscriptions and refunds;
- send service emails (results, receipts, support replies);
- measure marketing performance and improve the Service;
- prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents;
- comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information.
3. Service providers we use
We share data only with vetted service providers acting on our instructions:
- Paddle — payments and subscription management (Merchant of Record).
- Supabase — authentication and database hosting.
- Resend — transactional email delivery.
- Vercel — application hosting.
- SmartyStreets — ZIP-to-county lookup for regional content.
- Mixpanel and Microsoft Clarity — product analytics.
- Meta (Facebook) Pixel — ad measurement and audience matching.
- Crisp — live chat support.
We may also disclose data where required by law, to protect our rights, or in connection with a corporate transaction (e.g. merger or asset sale).
4. Retention
- Active subscribers — for the duration of your subscription.
- Cancelled accounts — up to 90 days, then deleted or anonymized.
- Quiz submissions without an account — up to 12 months.
- Billing records — retained as required by applicable tax and accounting law.
5. Cookies and tracking
We use cookies and similar technologies that are necessary to operate the Service (e.g. authentication), plus additional ones for analytics and advertising measurement. Your browser settings let you block or delete cookies; blocking necessary cookies may stop the Service from working.
6. California residents (CCPA / CPRA)
If you are a California resident, you have the right to:
- know what personal information we collect and how we use it;
- request a copy of your personal information;
- request deletion of your personal information;
- request correction of inaccurate personal information;
- opt out of any “sale” or “sharing” of personal information. We do not sell personal information; certain advertising-related cookies (e.g. Meta Pixel) may be considered “sharing” under CPRA.

7. Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit and at rest. No system is perfectly secure; you use the Service at your own risk and should keep your account credentials confidential.
8. Children
The Service is intended for adults aged 18 and over and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, email us and we will delete it.
9. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date above reflects the latest version. Material changes will be communicated through the Service or by email.
